SCHEDULE UPDATE: Schedule adjustments on Trident Service

Due to the ongoing schedule delays caused by significant and unworkable port congestion that Hamburg Sud have been experiencing across the ports in Oceania and Americas, they have advised they will proceed with adjustments to protect schedule reliability and continue to enable a weekly connection between Oceania and Americas on their Trident Service.

Hamburg Sud have decided to:

  1. Remove one of our two Cartagena Northbound calls on the TRIDENT Service’s weekly rotation. The first vessel not to call Cartagena Terminal-de Contenedores is MAERSK BINTAN V 122 N. Please note as indicated that the TRIDENT service will retain one port call in Cartagena Terminal-Sociedad Portuaria Regi, and we will continue to serve our customers' needs into and out of Cartagena.

  2. The port of Timaru will be omitted until further notice. The first vessel to omit Timaru will be MAERSK BINTAN V 133 N on August 25th.

The new TRIDENT rotation will therefore be as follows: Sydney > Melbourne > Timaru* > Port Chalmers > Napier > Tauranga > Panama Canal > Manzanillo > Cristobal > Cartagena > Philadelphia > Charleston > Cartagena > Panama Canal > Balboa > Tauranga > Sydney.
*Timaru omission until further notice.
